I have few questions to ask:
1. Why this episode was titled The Great Red Dragon?
2. What are your thoughts about brett partridge?
!!!Spoiler Alert !!!
From Jorden Harper, the writer of The Great Red Dragon:
"A lot of things happen in this episode that can’t be taken back, and things are going to change permanently. The whole world we’ve built gets shaken to the core. There are some deaths.”
"There will be an answer to the fate of Brett Partridge — in one of my favorite scenes, actually, in an episode that’s full of big scenes."
If partridge is not RJ, I hope they give some reasonable explanation of his death and that reason should be worth to be delayed till 7th or 8th episode....
In S06E06, we here a gunshot...we also here a voice..."No..wait.."
What I could infer is: It is very unlikely that one of the suspects knew that in the next moment patrick is going to shoot and hence he yelled "No...wait..", because patrick had the gun pointed to them all the time...
Now, I could think of the following possibilities:
1. Patrick shoots something else other than suspects...which is weird and hence one of the suspects yelled ..."No ...wait.."
2. Definately, as we hear a gunshot which was from a shotgun....it was patrick that shoots and no one else...
Please comment if I am wrong..or if there is any other possibility...
I will be happy to see all episodes once again if Partridge is redjohn...
It is Bret Stiles...yes.... the least suspected guy because of his physical characteristics...but my theory actually supprts this fact... Stiles is red john but but as he is ageing, recently the kills were done by his disciple Ray Haffner...
In episode "Red John's Rules," you hear Partridge say "Red John's been laying low for years, working through friends and proxies."
This is also confirmed by S06E06, where Stiles says that he is dying..
It was Haffner in S06E01 who killed partridge and drew smiley face on lisbon's face. We can see Haffner's hand caressing lisbon's chick while drawing smiley..
