Who is Red John?

Theories of Steppewolf (18)

So it's game over.

Hereby I'd like to post one final message in order to thank

- the creator(s) of this website. Good job!
- all the people who turned this place into a real detective-convention, sharing clues and witty remarks.
- the Partridge-guys, who maintained the comic relief factor in a principal way.

This Red John saga ended poorly, but these enthusiastic discussions at whoisredjohn.com made it worth the time anyway for me. Cheers!

Just a fancy thought:

What if Red John uttered his grand words "the game is over and I won"and then shoots himself in the head?

I know it sounds absurd and serial killers usually do not commit suicide, but I wonder how Jane would have felt about it. No more personal revenge for him, ever. Would he bend over Red John and try to reanimate the man? Maybe he would, but it's too late, and then, while thinking about the final lovescene of Romeo & Juliet, he also kills himself.

Afterwards a dove and a pigeon slip by.

As I said before: a finicking sip of the tea ended in a large gulp spilling half of the cup.

All subtlety faded away, starting what that stupid bomb, whereas the mindblowing should have been figuratively (with pithy dialogues) not literally.

But 6X8 was a fine parody, I'll give Heller that.

Oh man, I love this website! This stuff is actually better than The Mentalist itself.

Now, apart from what happened in the "Red John Episode" (which to my mind is about a fifty fifty case - parody or real deal), one question:

Has this ever happened before?
Has an episode of a major TV series been leaked on the internet, ever?

Seems no coincidence to me that this has to happen right now, when things concerning RJ are getting extremely tense.

Are the makers of this idiots, or are they geniouses who hooked us like fishes? We will see about that in two days.

Hm, looks like the biggest red herring of all times to me. I don't buy it. This is too poorly written to be true. Never tought I would say so, but even one of those far stretched Partridge-theory's on this website would have been more satisfying to see as an upshot.
Even Bertram as RJ looked fine in a way.

No, this was just a briljant distraction for all us impatient fans.
And now for something completely different ;)

Hey guys, I've made a little video about my favorite Red John suspect, for the fun of it but also to visualize the clues I found (or at least I think I found).

Hope this link works:

Show this theory

There have been yes/no polls about some suspects: Partrigde (a dozen of them), Bertram, McAllister - who is all of a sudden getting real popular based on a 30 sec promo.

Now, I would like to do one for Haffner, who I believe to be the one and only Red John. (I assume there didn't occur a poll for him yet, my bad if there was one before!)

Could be interesting to look back at after the final reveal ;)

GREEN: Haffner it is

RED: someone else
