I saw the episode but it doesn't pan out like the person who watched this one says (theory below). Is it another red Herring. Lets hope so

"Hello this is 911, what is your emergency??"
"Hi, this is Red John, i'm being chased"
Now that is fucking ridiculous
I've just finished watching the episode via the source code link. I can confirm all of the promo scenes are in the episode and that bruno hasn't flung us another red herring.
I'm slightly disappointed as there are so many unanswered questions that will probably go unanswered. It was great acting but the RJ reveal is a disappointment. If anyone really wants to know who it is before Sunday throw your email in the questions section.
I have to say season 6 has been my favourite to date with all the twists and turns although the peaches and cream episodes were fantastic too.
I'm pleased the main focus of the season is solely on Red John as I believed some episodes in previous seasons were mainly there to bulk the program out and were of no importance what so ever to the show (although very clever).
Although it's convincing in the promo, I don't believe its the sheriff because there are to many twists and turns in this show to comprehend at times, and do we really think that they'd ruin their many years work on a promo, knowing that die hard fans will go through the frames and spot the characters???
My picks on who Red John is, have changed from week to week at times but I now believe the missing tattoo on "Partridge" means a lot more than we think.
I still hope and believe the long con with Partridge would be the most exciting end of Red John and that there are many more twists to come.
What will we watch after The Mentalist, any recommendations are welcome. Cheers
I initially thought it was Bertram last week but now i'm convinced it's Partridge.
We never saw a face in the morgue and I believe the skin on this body doubles arm was burnt to conceal the fact that Partridge doesn't have the tattoo even though he recited the tyger tyger poem. This I believe shows he is in fact Red John. "Can't you see what this means??"
All his followers have the dots, but like stiles (his father figure) Partridge doesn't have the tattoo.
This is fantastically written and I take my hat off to everyone involved in the show

I think Bertram is Red John and that PJ was close to catching him a couple of seasons ago in the mall but RJ was one step ahead of him with the fake RJ. This was a plan to get PJ locked up for a while as he was close.
Bertram could easily bug the CBI office and be a step ahead at all times, it's only patrick that doesn't give his plans away and that's the only way he can get close.
The tyger tyger 3 all meet in Bertrams office, which to me signals he's the more powerful of the 3 remaining suspects.
There are many of your theories that make me think it could be any of the suspects, and the last episode with Stiles essentially baptising two women with blood using the same 3 fingers RJ uses to paint his smiley face is a bit baffling. He obviously has something to do with RJ.
