If the mentalist does get picked up for a seventh season (I doubt it) but if it does the season 7 premier should start off with a Red John murder and they end the series right. Is it ok to kill anyone in cold blood as long as you think(with no real hard evidence) they killed your family? I hope it is another Timothy Carter twist and the real Red John is just messing with Jane turning him into a serial killer like himself the show leaves it open for a Partridge fake death or the Kirkland twin as Red John storyline or Stiles/Haffner excape after concussion blast before lethal detonation or the most shocking someone not on the list like Mashburn or Manelli Hopefully The Mentalist gets picked up for another season Heller comes to his senses and listens to the outrage of the critics and fans of the show and goes back to the Red John saga and gives us the satisfying conclusion we deserve because the whole timing and execution of the reveal and the death of Red John just doesn't make any fuckin sense my mind had been blown at how badly they fucked up this show if it was done right I would have recomended it to everyone I know but instead I don't even want to admit to anyone that I ever followed such a lame piece of unsatisfying shit and that is coming from someone who owns every season and has watched every episode at least 3 times over and every Red John episode so much I have them memorized putting together every little clue Heller left us trying to solve the Red John puzzle It's like Heller died before the sixth season started and a bunch of writers who hate The Mentalist took over and said "let's end the Red John storyline without any explanation and turn the show into White Collar" you know what would be fun and different? let's skip ahead 2 years and have an entire episode about Jane on vacation dancing in a dress Simon Baker gets a directing credit on this episode .......FUCK YOU!!!!! YOU PRETENTIOUS CUNT Has anyone ever tried to catch a pigeon and kept it motionless in their pocket and why go through all the trouble to keep your identity secret just to reveal yourself any way if McAllister would have took his time to explain everything to Jane Abbott would have shown up with the entire FBI and busted Red John none of this makes sense McAllister's actions are that of a man who was orderd to play Red John and kill Jane not that of a serial killer and criminal mastermind and even if CBS was gonna cancel the Mentalist after this season why end the Red John story in the first third of the season ? to have Jane move on for half a season ??? who gives a fuck? Episode 9 My Blue Heaven minus the FBI nonsense should have been the last episode of the series or bonus features on the DVD box set what's left? a happy Jane solves murders with the FBI while frustrating Abbott with his unorthodox antics? the murder of the week episodes were entertaining enough but only tolerated till you finally got a little taste of Red John Without Red John I don't know if I could tolerate this show they could have also done Jane strikes oil and moves to Beverly Hills or Jane goes on a three hour bout tour and gets stranded on an island that would make the fuckin retard average viewer happy they type who just watch random CSI episodes on a neverending loop with the volume on high to drown out the sound of their kids fuck you assholes who say you are happy the Red John story is over let's see Jane move on ..........let's not let's have the series end with Jane all alone and miserable after not getting any satisfaction from the revenge of his family's murder Jane relizes he is Red John and puts a gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger if they would have done all this at the end of the first season with Partridge as Red John it would have been better than a five year cock tease that ends with blue balls fuckin cunts
