Who is Red John?

Theories of Pidgey (7)

I don't watch shows that only do the killer of the week storyline, do they have finales? I was just curious because most tv shows that have a main story focus on the main story for finales; and because what will the Mentalist do without RJ in the finale?

Who? Why? When? How? These are the questions that need to be answered when the audience finds out who the bad guy is (even Scooby Doo knew that). If McAllister is Red John we only got the who.

So now it's a killer of the week show? Basically the show is now all filler, I can't stand Supernatural filler episodes so I think this Mentalist season is going to awful.

I don't think I'll be watching if Red John doesn't come back. They need an underlining plot like a big serial killer so that it's not just a killer of the week show.

This show is about Red John, that's what sets it apart from the generic procedural cop shows out there. So Red John needs to either come back or they just need to end it because who wants to watch a soap opera?

Red John should be like Hannibal . For those of you who have watched Hannibal, when Will Graham and Hannibal come face to face and Will Graham discovers he is the murderer, that's how it's done. So tense, so dark and done so well. Hannibal is an utter evil genius as Red John should be.

I'm still going to watch and hope that we get a good season finale to The Mentlaist.

So why did Kirkland kill the guy in the hospital? Was he just nuts or something?
