Who is Red John?

Theories of JackPlotnick (16)

According to the promo, McAllister is Red John.
According to some speculations Nick Nordella is going to play a younger McAllister (Though credited Young man on IMDb).
That's it, after six years, we finally have a name and a face

Is this the truth, or is it what CBS want to make you think? Be rational, you're a mentalist fan for Blake's sake.

I wanna know why the pigeons. Why Kirkland killed Jason Lennon. What happened to Kristina. How did Red John figure out the list.

Red John is either Ray Haffner or Brett Partridge. (Smith is not since episode 7 and so isn't Betram, Stiles was too old anyway, Kirkland is dead with 6-7 holes on his back. McAllister is a CBS puppet, used to mislead us on RJ identity).

According to my theory http://www.whoisredjohn.com/See-a-theory-Red-John/12120
McAllister is Red John. Just because I saw the promo and some clues from episode 7.

I'm going to reduce the 7 suspects list to 2 names.

Being more rational now, are we really accusing McAllister of being RJ just because of the promo?
This is the most stupid thing we could do. Furthermore, we can assume McAllister ISN'T Red John. Bruno Heller would never show us the serial killer in a 19 seconds promo.

Then we have:
-Brett Partridge - supposed dead in episode 1, they don't mention him anymore until episode 7, no one can say he's dead for sure (not even you, Partridge haters).
-Bob Kirkland - dead. 6-7 shots in the back. Unless he's immortal, he's dead.
-Gail Bertram - Jane declares he's Red John, but it doesn't take a mentalist to know that he's not Red John, given all the clues and after episode 7 (And Jane is sure he isn't).
-Thomas McAllister, if they showed who is Red John in the promo, then I'm Britney Spears. I've already said why he isn't-
-Bret Stiles - supposed dead, anyway too old to be Red John. They MUST show us what really happened in the house.
-Ray Haffner - supposed dead (but I think he's not). Again, they still have to show us what really happened in the house.

So, this is pretty cool, because all of the Ray Haffner fans who used to say "Partridge is dead, get over it"  have to admit that their favorite suspect might have faked his death too.

Someone between Partridge and Haffner is Red John. And whoever he is, he faked his death.

All in all, I'm asking this again. What's the meaning of Partridge's burned shoulder? They promised to explain his death, but they didn't. Why didn't just Cho look at the face? As episode 7 taught us, Black Association can edit any data report, and for a forensic guy it wouldn't be hard to do that.

I'm still not convinced that Bertram is RJ. I mean, he tried to kill Jane. RJ would never do that, or he would to that but in a classy way. Also, Bertram looks too dumb. It took a group of suspects meeting to discover his identity after 10 years? Come on..

IMPORTANT
: In episode 7 Bertram calls someone called "Thomas" at the phone. Thomas is the first name of the sheriff.

[Spoiler] You can see McAllister reaching Patrick in the church in the "Red John" promo. And Patrick running after him in the park. Then, the sheriff is Red John at the end.So, I think that nobody died in the explosion.

P.S. I give up, they we'll never show us Partridge's really dead body. What's the meaning of the burned shoulder? Was TT trying to removed the evidence of the tattoo? They promised to explain his death, but they didn't. He still remains the Red John of my dreams.

"Nobody leaves!" -Patrick Jane

Nobody leaves this website after episode 8, so we can discuss it all together.

This is the 1000th theory that accuses Brett Partridge of being Red John.

Rhetorical question. If Partridge isn't Red John, then why did we get many shots like these?

Partridge vs Jane and the smiley between them

Let's put a smile on that face

And again, in  Red John's rules (this is the best one)

I mean, I can understand some frames, but when Jane and Partridge were discussing we always see Partridge and the smiley. And they both fit the camera perfectly together.

They would make sense and would be cool to notice when watching the all the episodes again after episode 8 "Red John".

If Partridge isn't Red John, and it's a huge possibility, well, thanks for these nice shots Bruno but I'd rather see them with the actual Red John.
