Who is Red John?

Theories of Eli (26)

To everyone calling us Partridge fans dumbasses and stupid, and that we wouldn't be satisfied either way, if not BP turned out to be RJ

Let me tell you something, from My Personal view.

I would have loved to see BP being RJ, he was my main suspect the last 6 years, that dosent mean that I didn't liked who it turned out to be, it's the storyline/telling I have trouble with, and believe you me, even if it would have been BP and it was as lame acting from the rest of the crew, and bad dialouge I still wouldn't have liked the episode.

The only scene I actually liked in this leaked episode was the scenes including both PJ and RJ ( the church scene were they talked and PJ strangling RJ) so intimate and sad, PJ face while he did it, shows what a great actor Simon Baker is !

If this truely is what we are gonna see Sunday, I would gladly this time wait a week for the next episode, so they can work some more on th storyline.

For a football game ---no

For this hell(Ner) yes

edge of my seat one freaking moment !

So either you had smoked some fantastic shit before watching it or you haven't seen the episode at all, just made a video for fun !

Ok, so I caved in, I have now seen the episode and not a moment to early since it's now gone from the website, but ( and I guess I'm gonna get a lot of pepper for this) I kinda liked it, in a way, not all of it of course, some acting was just plain ridicouluse, and why the guy searcing PJ didnt find the pidgon, but menage to find the gun, well maybe he tought PJ was just happy to see him, I dunno.

In a way I'm glad RJ didn't get the change to explain himself, he is indeed a narcissict psychopat longing for approval, but , like my son said when we discussed this, it would be cool if PJ told him not only the bomb plot, but also the list, really showed RJ that he The Mentalist in fact was smarter, that when all comes to an end, RJ is nothing more than a patetich little man who's been played.

We as the audience had very high expectations for this episode, and I'm not saying we should'nt have it, and this was the rough cut, maybe they have deleted some scene's and adding other scene's that worked better om the storyline, but overall I think it was O.K not brilliant , like press members have said, but O.k and I can live with that.
And for those who thinks it strange that RJ begged for mercy, not strange at all, he didnt wanna play before he got the chance to tell his story, the thing he is so proud of, PJ stole that moment of glory from him.

The only thing I dont get is this statement

"Sometimes you're forced to hate the conclusions or the wrapping things
up in silly, absurd ways or in fact — naming no shows — it turns out
they didn't have any idea how they were going to end the show or what
the secret was or why there were polar bears. We have the answers and
it's very important to us, for those people who have been following us
from the start, to revealnot in a series of cryptic moments that leave a
lot of questions begged. We're going to tell the story and explain who
Red John is and what happened and what is going to happen as clearly as
possible because the audience deserves that." Bruno Heller.

I liked the way RJ was played, the actor did indeed do a good job, the explanations BH is talking about ---meh not so much

In an interview Heller statet that most would be explained, he didnt wanna have an ending ,like the show with the polar bear ;)

From what I can read here at the forum and other site, Heller has come up with an even worse ending, ( how that is even possible, is beyond me)
I
understand that not everything could be explaned down to every last
detail, but c'mon, from what I can read we almost dont get any
explanation what so ever :o

Every press member who have seen the
episode call's it brilliant and mindblowing, every audience viewer thing
it sucks, ( haven't seen it myself) but when ppl agree that even
Stoopkid's theory that RJ is Van Pelt is better than the episode, I'm
nor sure if I even wanna see it this sunday, ( atleast if it is
confirmed by you guys that what you have seen today is the actually real
thing) then it's better to make up my own theory and stick with that one.
